Balances empathy with practical skill-building, so clients feel both understood and equipped.
About me
Hi, I’m Rebecca! I am a Licensed Social Worker (LSW) in both Pennsylvania and New Jersey. I bring several years of experience supporting children, teens, and adults through life’s challenges. My goal is to create a safe and empowering space where clients can feel supported while developing the skills and resilience to navigate challenges beyond the therapy room.
I have experience working in outpatient, school-based, and in-home settings. My work has focused on supporting clients facing anxiety, obsessive compulsive disorder, attention-deficit/hyperactivity disorder, depression, behavioral challenges, and trauma. I understand that every individual has a unique story, and I tailor therapy to meet each client's needs. Whether working with children, teens, or adults, I balance empathy and support with practical skill-building, helping clients feel understood while also taking meaningful steps toward growth and greater independence.
In therapy, I draw from evidence-based approaches including Client-Centered Therapy, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Trauma-Informed Care, and Play Therapy. I’m passionate about helping clients to recognize their strengths, build practical coping and communication skills, and develop greater confidence in navigating challenges.
I received my Master of Social Work from Wurzweiler School of Social Work and my Bachelor of Arts in Psychology from Saint Peter’s University. I am committed to ongoing learning, and strive to bring empathy, curiosity, and thoughtfulness into every therapeutic relationship. I am currently advancing toward my LCSW credential under the supervision of Haley Higby, LCSW.
I believe that trust and connection are at the heart of the therapeutic process, and that with the right support, tools, and opportunities for growth, meaningful change is always possible. I look forward to walking alongside you on your journey.
